The technical regulation TR CU 032/2013 On safety of pressure equipment specifies uniform safety requirements for equipment with overpressure and their marking. The purpose of this is to ensure the protection of life, health, the environment and property.

According to the technical regulation TR CU032/2013 , the pressure equipment and pressure vessels are designed and manufactured in such a way that specific risks during operation can be excluded.

The compliance with the requirements of the technical regulation TR CU 032/2013 On safety of pressure equipment for the placing of pressure equipment on the Russian and Eurasian market.

Although the requirements of the TR CU 032/2013 have been harmonized with the requirements of the pressure equipment directive 97/23/EC(PED), They do not correspond to it.

Application area of TR CU 032/2013

The technical regulation TR CU/2013 ,On safety of pressure equipment applies to the following equipment

1.        pressure vessel

2.        pipes

3.        heating and steam boilers

4.        equipment parts with safety function

From a maximum permissible pressure of 0.5 bars, these devices fall within the scope of the technical regulation R CU 032/2013

Conformity assessment process

The EAC Certification according to TR CU 032/2013 applies to pressure devices 3 and 4 categoy, which are listed in Annex No. 1 of the technical regulation EAC Declaration.

The EAC Certification according to TR CU/2013 applies to pressure devices category 1 and 2, which are listed in Annex 1 of the Technical Rules.

According to TR CU 032/2013 no conformity assessment needed for:

1.        main pipelines

2.        gas distribution networks

3.        equipment for use in the field of unclear energy

4.        equipment for use on sea and inland waterways

5.        brake systems of rail vehicles

6.        containers for use on airplanes

7.        military equipment

8.        parts of machines which are not self-contained containers (housings of pumps, turbines, compressors or motors)

9.        medical individual pressure chambers

10.     sprayers

11.     housing of high voltage equipment

12.     non-metallic flexible container

13.     silencer

14.     container for hot water

EAC marking

The products, which conformity with the requirements of TR CU 032/2013 has been confirmed, shall be marked with the EAC sign of the customs union. The placing on the market of products without corresponding marking can be punished with a fine or with a confiscation.

Period of validity of the EAC certificate

The certificate for serial production is valid for 5 years.
