According to the official announcement of the Russian Federation on June 29, 2010, food-related health certificates were officially canceled. As of July 1, 2010, electronic and electrical products belonging to the health-epidemic surveillance will no longer require health certification, instead of the Russian government's registration certificate.

     In addition to food and drinking water related products (such as electrical products in contact with food), the general laptop or computer screen (with radiation products) must apply for Russian health certification.
Now, the new Russian registration certificate only regulate food products in contact with food, and July 1, 2010 issued before the health certificate can only be used on January 1, 2012. The validity period of the Russian national registration certificate is valid for a long period of time.

State Registration certification of the products scope of application:

1. Alcohol (natural food, medical and catering, medical), bottled drinking water, soft drinks in containers (including baby food), alcoholic beverages (including alcohol), beer;

2. Special foods, including baby food, pregnant and lactating women with food, athletes special dietary products, bioactive food additives, the production of bioactive additives, raw materials, organic products;

3. The use of genetically modified (genetically modified) organisms for the production of food, including genetically modified organisms;

4. Food additives, compound food additives, condiments, plant extracts as seasonings and raw materials, microbiological and bacterial starters, technical aids, including enzymes;

5. Cosmetics, oral hygiene tools and products;

6. Pesticides, pests and rodent control tools (for use in families, hospitals and other facilities, except for veterinary use);

7. Household chemicals;

8. potentially dangerous chemical and biological substances;

9. Materials, equipment, installations and other technical means intended for use in drinking water supply;

10. Children's and adult personal hygiene products, children's products not more than 3 years old, nutrition meals and nutritional supplements, child care and hygiene products, children's clothing;

11. Products intended for contact with food (except cooking utensils, utensils, equipment).

State Registration certification process

1. The applicant apply for certification;

2. The certification body confirms the certification mode and the implementation plan according to the product information;

3. Prepared by the applicant to submit the certification required for certification information;

4. According to the certification model to determine whether the need for sample testing or factory audit;

5. Audit factory’s qualification and materials, issue draft certificate
