In order to adapt to the new Legislative Framework (NCRF), March 29, 2014, the EU official journal (L 96/79) published a new version of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/30 / EU to replace the original Electromagnetic compatibility Directive 2004/108 / EC.
Execution time
The new directive will be implemented on April 20, 2016. Member States must complete the legislative process by April 19, 2016. In other words, the VOC (Declaration of Conformity) based on the old EMC directive will not be accepted since April 20, 2016.
Product Range
The instructions apply to the final appliance sold on the market. Under certain conditions, some terminal customers can purchase parts or install components should also meet the requirements of the instructions. For example: household appliances, lighting equipment, information technology equipment, engineering doctors (ISM) equipment, motors and so on.
Directive requirements
This command controls the electromagnetic compatibility of the device. Designed to ensure that the internal market mechanism operates by requiring the equipment to have sufficient levels of electromagnetic compatibility.
Updates include:
The EMC Directive does not contain a professional custom assessment kit for research and development only.
Add definitions such as "manufacturer", "importer", "distributor" and "authorized representative".
Added operator responsibility requirements. (Eg, compliance marks, labels and product traceability).
The name and registered trade name and registered trademark and address of the manufacturer and importer must appear on the equipment and may appear on the packaging or user manual when the device size or the nature of the equipment is not allowed.
The user manual should include the use of the appliance and the use of the instructions. Such as assembly, installation, maintenance, use and operating environments.
"EU form inspection certificate" to replace the old "notice of the organization submissions."
Need to provide a sole bulletin board application for a written statement.
The wider application of electronic means in proof of conformity.
Member States will take all appropriate measures to restrict or prohibit the formal nonconforming instruments from being sold on the market or to ensure that they are withdrawn or recalled from the market. Formal noncompliance includes:
A) The marking method of the CE mark does not comply with the requirements of Chapter 30 of Regulation 765/2008 or Chapter 17 of the Directive;
B) No markings CE mark;
C) did not draft the EU Declaration of Conformity;
D) the drafting of the EU Declaration of Conformity is incorrect;

G) does not fulfill any of the other administrative requirements of Chapter 7 or Chapter 9. (Such as product model, lot number or serial number missing. Found that the product does not meet the requirements or the risk did not take measures or notify the relevant management).
Pay special attention to
The manufacturer is solely responsible for the conformity assessment.
