On the first anniversary of the entry into force of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA), the two countries signed a contract to expand the scope of mutual certification of electrical and electronic products.

According to the contract, the Korean certification body issued a test report and China Compulsory Product Certification (CCC) directory of 104 kinds of electronic products to achieve mutual certification. Mandatory product certification is the manufacturing company in the sale of products before the mandatory acceptance of the designated certification body product type test and factory inspection system. When exporting electrical and electronic products to China, enterprises must obtain 3C certification in advance, not only the cost of certification fees, and the processing time of about three months or so, to South Korea caused no small burden.

In September this year, the two countries signed a contract to promote mutual certification system, in March this year, the two countries signed a mutual certification certification memorandum (MOU). The two sides first for six kinds of products were mutual recognition pilot, and from next year will be mutual certification object to the Korean comprehensive certification mark KC directory of 173 kinds of products and China 3C certification 104 kinds of products.

Trade barriers between the two countries have been significantly reduced, helping to export and develop markets. The The two countries will also plan to gradually expand the scope of mutual recognition to non-electrical and electronic fields.
